Fade Accompli: Short Pieces

Small Words And Small Thoughts

Unable to figure out what to write, I asked a friend for inspiration. She suggested I ask people to give me ideas--not so much challenges as short phrases or ideas--to write on, and then do drabbles on each one suggested. They're not precisely drabbles, as I made no great effort to stick to 100 words, though some do hit the nice round number. And this is what I came up with: fourteen short-short fragments of varying quality and tone. The "title" of each is precisely the prompt I was given.

Go ahead and read; it won't take long. And when you're done, let me know if you have any comments. If you have some marvelous prompt you want me to write to (around five words is best, as longer ones become difficult to say much about in such a short format), tell me, and I'll add it to the list. I do intend to keep adding here...
